Partnerships

Eastern Community considers collaborations that fit its focus on shared places, neighbourhood gatherings and the small choices that bring people together. We want any partnership to be easy for readers to recognise and separate from independent editorial work.

Possible collaborations

We consider relevant partner placements and clearly defined collaborations connected to community life. A proposal should explain the organisation or project involved, the intended subject, the format and what readers would receive. We do not infer that a proposal is suitable simply because it uses community language.

Clear labels, clear boundaries

Sponsored or partner material and paid placements will be labelled clearly. Partners do not control independent editorial decisions, and a collaboration does not mean Eastern Community endorses every view or activity of a partner. We will not accept arrangements that require an undisclosed commercial message or a misleading presentation.

Start a conversation

Use the Contact page and choose the partnership option. Please describe the proposed collaboration, its purpose and the material or placement you have in mind. We will consider whether it fits the publication and can be presented transparently.

What we believe

A community is made in the small moments

A familiar meeting place, a thoughtful invitation or a shared task can help neighbours find common ground. We look at the details that make those moments work.
